Really shocked by all of the reviews of good food. As seasoned travelers, we didn’t know what half of the dishes even were. The quality was far from a 5 star ! If you want good food please go elsewhere because this is just not it. We stayed at the Gran Fiesta Americana last year in the hotel zone, & the food there was impeccable. The restaurants here & the buffet are filled with bread/desserts and LACK real quality food. The hotel doesn’t take concerns/complaints seriously. We had an issue with our transportation & they were not accommodating or remorseful. We’ve been to Cancun many times and have experienced real 5 star service at other resorts in the hotel zone. The people were sweet & the hotel grounds were decent but that’s all they have going for them. Everything is an up charge, the rooms are small and the AC did not work. You’ll be much happier staying elsewhere.

Everything was exquisite! The staff, ambiance, food, room, literally everything. The staff were very professional & friendly. Every thing is kept clean & the luxury ocean view room was stunning! The gym was fully loaded with equipment & kept clean. The food was great & so were the Drinks. I can’t get over how beautiful the hotel is! The room was a little difficult to locate at first only because it was on the fifth floor (room 3558), assuming that it’d be on the 3rd floor. Anyhow I highly recommend this hotel because everything was amazing.

The food is impeccable, the bartenders friendly & eager to please, beds comfortable. We got a suite with the most luxurious tub. If you’re considering upgrading to The Reserve, it’s well worth the extra money for the breakfast and lunch options plus the ability to get away from the DJ in the regular pool (and the kids). The pool is also heated to a perfect temp. Really can’t say enough about this experience! You won’t be disappointed!

This hotel is AMAZING! The staff is so friendly, very helpful, accommodating. Beautiful views inside and out. Very clean as well! Lots of food and drink choices, some cost extra but TOTALLY worth it, and make sure you check out some of the excursions they offer! Will definitely be back here!

We enjoyed our stay at Paradisus which we went to for our friends destination wedding. All the food at Paradisus was very good. The hotel also did a great job at their wedding the food was delicious so was the cake and the whole venue set up was gorgeous. Servers at the wedding were excellent. They were very attentive and made sure everyone had anything they needed. Also for check in Alberto went above and beyond to help us get checked in and in a room we enjoyed. He was very attentive and we really appreciate all his help. He took his time and did not rush through helping us. We could tell he really wanted to make sure we were taken care of. WEN went out of her way to help us book our golf tee time. She also made sure we were able to get a reservation at the Italian restaurant we really wanted to try out. She is an excellent customer service representative and she went above and beyond for us! Paradisus has some wonderful employees on board! Definitely want to come back soon!

The resort needs to get their standardized operating procedures in place. Every day the room service set up the room differently. One day our pack of peanuts was switched for a bag of chips. Getting water was a hassle. I asked a waiter for water bottles and he said he would get in trouble if he gave us water bottles. Food is left out and most of the times cold. Not too many veggie options. Some food is not edible as they are not cooked properly (pasta, potatoes, and eggs). Areas of resort are "restricted" but no signs are shown or provided to inform guests which areas are for what tier. Weird aroma when walking through the resort. Hotel room was beautiful and view was amazing. You are pretty much paying the higher price for the aesthetics of the resort, not for customer service or care.

Great location, beautiful landscape, nice beach, no seaweed, big waves, loved it. Hotel’s territory divided into few sections - main pool area, where all action happens, load music, pool bar, etc, kids pool area is more quiet, even with kids and adults only area, but one needs to buy Reserve package to get access to it. Food is good, in my opinion everyone can find something they like. Coffee is really good. Alcohol, is not. You have to book restaurants, but most of the time they are able to find a spot for you without reservation. Our room had a lagoon view facing West, so we had a chance to enjoy beautiful sunsets. There is a renovation happening inside the hotel, very loud and dusty, but that didn’t bother us since we were outside most of the time. Overall great experience.

My spouse and I had a lovely and relaxing stay. Our concierge, Raul was great and displayed excellent customer service as he ensured our vacation was effortlessly excused. Wendy & colleagues in the Sports Bar were on point with the spirits...great customer service, too! Our Room 3229 was neat, tidy and spacious. The attendants at the pools and beach were readily available. David (the waiter) & his colleagues again, provided great service, "Thank You, All" for a trip to be wonderful memories! Simply stated, "We had a wonderful time!"....Loved it!!!

Four long time friends visited Paradisus Cancun in the Reserve and two of us had been here before and would return anytime!! The facility is beautiful and immaculate. The food was diverse and delicious and the drinks were always flowing. The amazing and attentive staff are what made this vacation unforgettable, fun and relaxing!!! Thank you to ALL of them, from Betsy our beautifully kind ‘care taker’ and the pool, bar and wait staff: Diego, Max, Oscar, Yamil, Rene, and so many more. Thank you all so much for making this such a great, memorable vacation!!!! Five stars all the way! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely blown away by this resort!! 10/10 experience. We stayed in the Reserve package for our 7 day honeymoon. We were catered to like never before. Entire resort was clean, everyone was happy to do their jobs, and so very attentive. Juan was our concierge and was helpful and made our dinner reservations every day. Diego managed the reserve adult only pool and constantly checked to make sure everything was perfect. He even surprised us with champagne and fruit in our cabana after our off site snorkel. Oscar and Moises - AMAZING CABANA WAITERS. They made sure we had drinks and food and refilled us before we even asked for anything. Lucas laid our cabana towels each day with a smile. Wendy was the sweetest cocktail waitress at Ginger bar and we saw her every night. Would recommend The Reserve to ANYONE! Truly amazing!!

It is kinda old review, it was our first time to visit Cancun, Mexico The hotel is spacious with divided building(accommodations) based on your members. My sis and I got the room in West side, room condition is clean, the amenities are just a normal as ordinary hotel. You can enjoy your all-inclusive hotel wherever you want, whatever you wanna eat. Hotel’s private beach is clean, well-organized. Well trained staffs with kindness. You can enjoy your ocean without crowd and huge pool inside the hotel. Hotel’s restaurants are good to visit all of them, sometimes, you might need to book your table for some specific restaurant via phone. We always talked about the Cancun experience, we definitely want to come back!

One of the best trips I’ve ever been on!! This hotel is amazing! All of the staff went above and beyond to make our experience memorable! We stayed for 5 days and never left the hotel as they have activities planned (for both adults and kids) every day all day so there is so much you can do there. The restaurants there are all different styles so you get to experience all kinds of different foods. The tequila and cocktail workshops are a must!! They create new drinks, you get to sample them 😊 and you learn and have fun in the process! They also have amazing shows/events and you absolutely need to attend the silent dance party!! The whole trip was worth every penny and I will definitely be back!!

From the Time I exited the limousine the reception, IN processing and hospitality was amazing. The desk concierge who offered and processed my upgrade, The hotel bartenders, The Reserve Adults section Pool concierge were all professional and super pleasant to work with. Thanks Team Paradisus for making my personal adult get away the "Best" in World Class treatment. As a add-on "Miguel" (At the Check-in Reception Desk) Is the one who made it all happen for me - Miguel went above the usual treatment and service to ensure I had the accommodations that I want and needed. THANKS MIGUEL!!!

Second time staying at Paradisus. The hotel was even better due to not being crowded and being able to social distance. We ordered the beachfront Bali beds and our server Sergio did not disappoint. We never had to ask for anything hardly unless we wanted to order food. Johnathan helped me pre book which was a plus. Our concierges Violetta and Aaron were also a big plus in getting us prepared to enter back into the US. Over all the stay was very pleasant and relaxing. Thanks again for the wonderful hospitality.

In response to what management said on my email below, most intelligent adults do not put their legal name on google. Everything in my review was completely accurate and the staff was informed during my stay. There isn’t any response management can offer to change the experience. FACTS are FACTS. *Definitely not for a couples getaway! There are a lot of children in every single corner of the resort. There is no adult-only anything and if there is then it definitely isn’t enforced. My husband and I literally had to leave the pool and other social areas that we were paying to enjoy just to avoid people’s kids. Music blares all night and it’s not good music. The buffet is the best food at the resort. Restaurants are a 2-3 on their best night. Very disappointing. I resorted to wings from room service every night to survive. I’m being dramatic, but I didn’t eat one complete meal from any restaurant that I thoroughly enjoyed. The pillows have a terrible odor, like someone passing gas every time air is pushed out of it. Had our room changed because we thought the room was the issue, only to get to another room and discover the same exact odor, which we found was coming from the pillows. Also, you get asked to take their “membership” or “timeshare” tour and they give you a gift certificate to the steakhouse. This certificate will probably pay for 1 drink. The steakhouse isn’t good and the wine I was given tasted old and cheap but they charge top dollar for it. I took 1 bite of my steak and potato and threw the rest away but still had to pay the $150 bill. I suggest going out to eat at a nice restaurant instead of spending money here. Customer service is good, they try their best. This resort is a solid 3 stars due to customer service. Based on my experience, I will not return here.
